The rules for using NEXT-LIFE. By playing, you agree to them.
By accessing or playing NEXT-LIFE (the "game"), operated by Niels Divoux, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the game.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continuing to play after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
You must be old enough to form a binding contract and to consent to data processing in your country (for example, at least 16 in much of the EU, or younger where local law allows with verifiable guardian consent).
You may play without an account (progress is stored on your device) or create an optional account with email and password or Google Sign-In to save your progress to the cloud. You are responsible for keeping your credentials and any payment method valid and authorized.
The game offers optional purchases of virtual "gold" and content bundles, sold by Niels Divoux as merchant of record and processed by our payment provider, Stripe. Prices are shown in the stated currency before you confirm and may change over time; any applicable tax treatment is as follows: the operator is a non-VAT-registered Swiss sole proprietor, so no VAT is added and CHF prices are final.
Virtual currency and items have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are licensed to you for personal use within the game — not sold. All purchases are subject to our Refund Policy.
You agree not to exploit, reverse-engineer, automate, or manipulate the game or its payment flows, not to attempt to obtain paid content without paying, and not to use the game for any unlawful purpose.
We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe these Terms are being abused.
The game is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind — including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, security, or uninterrupted or error-free operation — to the fullest extent permitted by law.
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, but no online service can be guaranteed fully secure or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, game progress or profits — including progress saved only in your browser, which may be lost if you clear your browser data or switch devices without a cloud account. Our total aggregate liability for any and all claims relating to the game is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or wilful misconduct, for gross negligence, or under your mandatory statutory consumer-protection and data-protection rights.
These Terms are governed by Swiss law, and the courts of the Canton of Vaud, Switzerland have jurisdiction, without depriving you of any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the game or these Terms at any time. Questions about these Terms can be sent to support.nextlife@gmail.com.
